Unlike some other products where quality may not make an obvious difference, the differences between cheap and quality glowsticks are significant. There are many problems with cheap glow sticks. They either don't activate or they glow a very short amount of time. There are many causes for the quality issues. Two main ones are the most common. One of the reasons is when cheap glowsticks were made, the manufacturers did not use the correct type of chemicals. Second reason is that the cheap glow necklaces for sale may have only a very short period of shelf life time left, e.g. 1-2 months. Properly stored in a cool place and avoiding sunlight, one should expect a two-year shelf life out of glow sticks. For glow necklaces, glow bracelets and other glow party supplies, the shelf life is typically 1 year.

In summary, cheap glow sticks or cheap glow necklaces simply won’t do the job unfortunately and will achieve nothing but a waste of money and time.
