Kids Love Wooden Toys
What has happened to these toys, well they are still out there they are just not sold in major retailers so it could be worth looking around for them.
There is a shop that I always remember going into that had a brilliant wooden train set that I used to play with every time that I went in there and had to be forced out by my parents, they also had one of those wooden bikes that I took great pleasure out of riding around the store crashing into many people. What happened to all of these nifty toys?
Of course all of these places exist but just where on earth can you go to find them. This is because plastic is seen as a cheaper and safer way of making many of today’s toys. Are kids really having as much fun with these toys as they did with the wooden ones years ago?
The thing is people just do not want to go out and take a bit of extra time to look for these toys which is one of the problems. Wooden toys not only seem to be better to play with they are also great learning toys as the majority of wooden toys made to seem to be made to help the mind grow as the child does.
There are also so many different toys out there that you can get from wooden play sets and wooden food sets too. Plastic is often put inside a childs mouth because of the fact it doesnt taste of anything, wood has the opposite effect and your child will only try it once.
So rather than looking for the very best brand this Christmas it could be worth looking into a more traditional toy in the form of a wooden play set? They are nearly always welcomed by the child.
